A: There are currently no companies that make sound machines with Green Noise specifically as an option, it is only available on apps. We would recommend getting a unit like the Dreamcenter that offers multiple "Color" sound options to best suit your needs. The following units below have sounds that are very similar if not mimic the "Green Noise".

Q: How to change brightness? The description says you can change the color and intensity of the nightlight. I see how to change the color but I want to dim the light.

A: On the Dreamcenter you will press and hold the light button until you reach the preferred color option. As you press and hold the colors change and increase/decrease intensity. You cannot change the intensity separately.

This was a must for our newborn as it quickly calmed her at night and nap time. The light was a great feature as well! Loved it so much we got one for a friend who was expecting. Our baby decided on her own when she was done with it. At about 6 months she no longer wanted the sound or night light.

So I bought this same exact machine at my local TJ Maxx for about $20. Until then, we were playing white noise sounds through my iPad cause we didn't think we needed a sound machine. I'm so glad I went ahead and purchased it after reading all the great reviews. The lowest setting is not too loud for us, it's actually perfect. We didn't notice any weird pink/white noise sound, but then again, we were using our iPad, so this machine is significantly better. The light is bright enough to emit a light ambience, but not as bright as a plug in night light. Overall, we love this machine.

Beat sound machine I found for babies-and I tried all of them. It’s got a nice dim nightlight and all the sounds are actually soothing. I liked the different white/brown/pink noises as well as the “shushing” one, the campfire one, and the heartbeat one. Any other sounds are usually too stimulating for a baby to sleep. This one is great. I also found the ones with apps were too complicated to them off/on at bedtime and had too many issues with the app. This one is straightforward and easy.

This sound machine is smaller than I expected which is neither good nor bad. It has a nice variety of sounds and the buttons are convenient. There are 4 buttons for the 4 categories of different sounds and you continue pressing to scroll through them and it beeps when you’re back at the beginning. The light is just right for putting baby to bed. Sound is good quality. Looks nice. Only reason for taking a star off is that it didn’t come with a wall plug which I think is kind of dumb. so it’s not ready to use out of the box… you have to spend more money. Unless you happen to have one lying around. Which I didn’t.

Love this sound machine! Works great, has a decent length cord, and has a ton of different sound options. My only complaint is that everyone once (maybe every 3-6 months) in awhile it randomly turns off during the night and wakes my daughter up since she is used to having it on all night long. Highly recommend!
