  • A: Thanks for asking! The Rohm and Hushh are similar in size and have the exact same three sound options. The differences are the Hushh has an additional child-friendly features like a child-safe button lock, a soft amber LED night light, and a plastic clip (verses the Rohm's rope lanyard) for conveniently clipping to wanted items.

Q: How long does this last between charges? Looking to get one for camping and would need to last 3+ nights between charges.

  • A: That's a really good question! Our Rohm sound machine can run for 8 hours depending on the volume used. Louder volume = more battery drained. For a camping trip I would suggest our new Sea Soother it runs on batteries and can last up to 30 hours and doesn't require an outlet to charge.

    Love that this has just three simple choices for white noise. I tried the hatch portable white noise and it had all the random ones that I doubt anyone actually falls asleep to like raindrops or the loud shhh? This one was worth it! I definitely recommend it

    Use this every night!

    Didn’t know I needed this but so glad I found it. I’m an adult and I use this every night. It helps drown out some of the annoying apartment noise so I can sleep through the night since I’m a light sleeper. Long lasting and easily portable.

    Only works for a few months

    Product only worked for a few months. Even with a full charge, the noise machine will only last a few hours. It is always off by the time I go into baby’s room. I would not recommend purchasing this item.

    Great - Until it Stops Turning On

    Worked great for 2 years. I took great care of it, only plugged it in to charge it, didn't leave it plugged in for long periods of time, etc., and suddenly 2 days ago my Rohm stopped working. Of course this happens after the warranty ends. I would love to get it fixed because I hate the thought of it going in a landfill. Any advice will be super appreciated.

    Buy it!

    Buy it! I have a hard time getting my baby to sleep before getting this portable sound machine. It puts him right to sleep. I take it everywhere I go now

    Not worth it

    All around perfect

    All around perfect little machine! The battery life is amazing, holds charge for nearly two days even when used consistently. Withstands our toddlers playing with it. Durable and dependable. Love that it's so portable.

    Stopped charging

    This would have been great if it didn’t just stop working a couple months in. It worked fine and then just stopped charging and the battery died. I noticed a few people mention it in their reviews too.

    Happy with ours

    Not sure if manufacturing has changed but we bought our Rohm three years ago and it’s going strong with baby #2. Our kiddos love the sounds and we like it for sleep, too.

    Broke within a couple of months

    First it stopped turning off- so you pressed the button and just didn't turn off. Now it won't turn on at all.

    BROKE AFTER TWO WEEKS OF USE

    Broke after two weeks! It’s stuck on, can’t turn it up or down, can’t turn it off. Can’t return because we don’t live near a target and can’t return by mail. Disappointed

    Broke in less than a month

    I really loved this little guy but less than a month in, it just stopped working. I didn't do anything to it, I didn't drop it, shake it, I didn't even move it! I tried to turn it on one night and nothing, I checked the outlet, adapter, and cord, and still nothing. I'm going to return it, but am irritated that I can only do it in store, since the nearest one is almost an hour away. I'm going to give it one more try though, that's how much I love it! If this one breaks in less than a month though, I'm done for good!

    A few problems

    We have been using this sound machine for 6 months and for the most part it has worked great, but we have had multiple problems with it. First, we couldn't get it to turn off - we had to wait until it died, and then it worked normally again. Now, we can't get it to turn on - it's acting like it's dead but it was plugged in, so it should have been fully charged. This product came highly recommended, but I'm not sure if I would recommend it. Maybe we just got a fluke.

    Broke within two weeks

    Bought a first one and it works great for travel. Bought a second one for home and it stopped working within 2 weeks. Won’t turn on.

    Stopped working after 3 months

    This was great to keep our dog from hearing noises on the street during working hours, however after 3 months it's stopped working. I charge it, it turns on briefly, and then turns itself off again.
