Review of this Phonics Phase 1: Letters and Sounds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This letters and sounds: phase 1 pack comes with 7 different cards, each card with a different activity. I have a 4-year-old, who is attending preschool this school year, but also a 2-year-old. When we popped these into our Yoto mini player to listen to and participate in, my 2-year-old enjoyed playing too. As a teacher, this product makes my teacher heart happy because these are those tricky pre-reading skills that are hard to explain to parents what they should be doing with their child to prepare them to read independently. So glad to have this as a screen free pre-reading activity for my toddlers. I received an incentive to write this review.

Good concept, not very engaging
My kids (4, 6, 9, and 12) absolutely love love love their Yoto player and cards…. Best investment EVER. They use it almost every day for bedtime, in the car, and during down time. I had high hopes for this set of cards because my 4 year old has little interest in learning his letters and phonics sounds… however, he would rather listen to story cards instead of these cards 😔

Perfect for new parents
I play these for my one year old all the time! As a single mom who works, I was nervous about teaching my daughter and having the time and tools neccesary. This is super helpful and takes off lots of stress
