Zesty Paws Flea & Tick Shampoo - 16oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my pups and it did get rid of their fleas, can't speak to the tick aspect because they didn't have any but it didnt overly dry out their skin which is something that tends to happen with shampoos that gets rid of bugs. I would purchase again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is 1 1/2 years old so this is the first flea and tick shampoo I tried because this year I wanted to take a natural approach instead of giving her "medicine" that would make her blood toxic. I appreciate that I'm able to use this in conjunction with supplements, collars and sprays to keep the icky bugs away. It's a relief to find something that works without a harsh, chemical smell or worrying about my dog's skin. This product has a medium strength smell in the bottle but after applied and rinsed off it is barely noticeable. I love that it's vet-formulated because I value that sort of advice even though I don't agree with typical flea and tick prevention prescriptions. After her bath we went out for a walk and came back without a tick in sight. Great that this not only kills fleas and ticks but also helps prevent them.

The smell I good and not overpowering. A little of this shampoo goes a long way. My dog has sensitive skin in certain areas and this shampoo is gentle. Bath time is enjoyable and being outdoors my two dogs are exposed to ticks often. However, since using this product a few times, I have not noticed any recently. Great product, would purchase again.

It worked good, my dogs didn't seem to have any adverse reaction to it and so far it appears to be effective as we've had no flea or tick issues.

Unlike other pet shampoos we have tried in the past our pups are not left with that "wet dog" smell after their baths. Their coats are have a beautiful healthy shine and are left feeling super soft. We did not experience any irritation or dryness after use. We have not had any issues with ticks or fleas, which is a huge relief as they are very much present in the area we live. Zesty Paws has now become our new go to for our fur babies bath time. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Years ago we read somewhere that using regular old fashioned Dawn dish soap to bathe your dog was a highly effective & affordable means of getting your pup cleaned up while eliminating fleas & their eggs/larvae. We found that it did work pretty well when we had a flea outbreak & have been using it ever since. However after receiving this sample (a full-sized bottle by the way, which we really appreciated!) we might have to make the switch. First of all, it smells incredible & left a nice lingering scent throughout the rest of the day after our dog's bath. But most importantly, and slightly horrifyingly, was the shocking amount of dirt that seemed to be pouring off of her & down the shower drain. I don't think there would be any reason why she would be significantly dirtier than usual, so our conclusion was that this shampoo simply worked that much better than our usual Dawn dish soap has been. We're not dealing with fleas currently so I can't speak to that in particular, however I'm confident that the strong scent of tea tree oil indicates that fleas would be no match for this dog-cleaning wonder soap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently moved out of the city to the suburbs and with the beautiful grass, trees and quiet came the pretty flea and ticks! While the flea and tick monthly medicine is helpful, this is the extra layer we needed to help protect and clean our girl! My dog loves to roll around and gets herself into pretty messy situations. This shampoo has been great for cleaning and removing any pest that gets to her. She was showing signs of being itchy so we knew it was time to try this. I lathered her and let it soak in for a good 10 minutes. After rinsing I did see some fleas in the water. The smell is nice and gentle which is important to me because I don't want an intense smell for her. After thoroughly drying, it's been a day and the itching has significantly stopped so this has been great! I will definitely continue to use this to get rid of (and hopefully prevent) any future flea attacks

When they started scratching I used Zesty Paws (that received free of charge for my honest review) immediately and it worked great. They stopped the scratching and the coats were soft and smelled great. I recommend Zesty Paws to everyone concerned with flees and ticks on their dogs.
