Zombie Burrito

It was a fun game with chaotic actions happening a bunch of times. a few confusing parts with how the cards work and definitely a bit more of an advantage to the Zombie players and a small advantage to the survivor players. The cards were a bit confusing when there are 2 cards with the same function but look completely different, do they cancel each other out or we can play them both is a big question we had. definitely challenging when there are only 3 players since the zombies get the extra player no matter what. a way to have extra burrito's for the survivors when they get the extra burrito card if they don't have another burrito game or a burrito shield when they draw the shield card.

The game was very interactive and fun and I really enjoyed it! It’s great that it’s simple, straight to the point, and interactive. As we have to throw burritos, have some space in the area to play!

Another Awesome Game from Exploding Kittens!

Fast-moving and fun for the whole family! The only downside (according to our 12-year-old) is that a round doesn’t last long enough. We older folk disagreed. The Advantages and Disadvantages mean that every round is at least slightly different, which is a nice change from the standard Throw Throw Burrito. We’ll be playing it often!

Beautiful chaos. A mix of cards and quick-draw dodgeball, but with burritos. Make sure all fragile items are secured. Easy to learn with clever, goofy, funny cards typical of exploding kittens.

Sometimes it’s hard to find games for everyone in my family to be able to play and enjoy, but the mechanics of this one are a great fit! Also, the physicality of Zombie Burrito is a fun change up to sitting at the table the whole time!

The fun of Zombie Burrito will never DIE!

Zombie Burrito utilizes the fun gameplay loop of the Throw Throw franchise, while justifying its creation with fun new cards (shields & socks!) and a team-based twist. The undead theme could have been a skin on the exact same game, but the Exploding Kittens team proves once again that they care more about unique, party game experiences than most other board game developers. Zombie Burrito has instantly become a mainstay in my party game rotation and I can’t wait to play it again!

Fun game if you have throwing space

If you're familiar with Throw Throw Burrito or its related games, you'll find this edition enjoyable. I loved that burrito throwing is the main focus, and who wouldn't want to toss squishy burrito-shaped objects at their friends? The biggest challenge was finding enough space to play without risking damage to lamps and other items. I definitely recommend this game for outdoor play or if you have a rec room or similar indoor space where you can safely throw, dodge, and run around while attacking the other team. It's a fun party game, especially great for kids to burn off some energy. I received this game for free in exchange for my honest review.

Part Dodgeball, part card game, part team-based and ALWAYS frantic! Zombie Burrito has two parts: Quickly swapping cards around the table looking for matches; and Battles ducking under furniture and throwing soft foam burritos at each other! The card game is important, because you can give your team extra advantages in Battles like: "You can use a pillow as a shield!" or "You have to be hit twice before you're out." The Battles are important because they are how your team earns points to win the game. Should you play this with your elderly grandparents and their oh-so-breakable hips? Probably not. Should you play this in a room with lots of expensive items to trip over? Only if it's not your stuff! Is this an awesome family game for your 3-5 year old? Maaaybe, they'll enjoy seeing everyone throw stuff at each other; but won't understand the rules. This game shines with the right audience and the right location. The game is great for kids and adults happy to duck under flying game pieces and frantically sort and yell out what cards they have as a team. If all that sounds good to you, go for it!

We are big fans of exploding kitten products! This game is such a fun experience for any group size and setting. It might be a little too much fun, just be cautious about chucking the zombie burritos—things can escalate quickly

Fun Twist on an Already Great Game

5 out of 5 stars

Zombie Burrito takes an already fun premise and refines it. The two most fun elements of Throw Throw Burrito to me were always the Chaotic Burrito Wars and the Climatic Burrito Duels. Zombie Burrito takes these two elements, combines them, and makes them the star of the game. The hectic battle build up is still silly fun, teams bring in grade school dodgeball nostalgia, and the the team ability mechanic spices up the new battle format. Great update to an already great game and new go to opener for game night!

New cards, new battles! Not as good with three persons, certainly better with larger groups. Time to get your burrito on!

Silly, fast-paced escape from adulthood and existential dread.

This game is a hysterical romp back to childhood and the days of playing dodgeball. Only now you're doing it with squishy yet adorable burritos. Exploding Kittens is known for fun art and this game is clearly a member of that family - well designed, easy to understand rules - an opportunity to be silly - a welcome respite from adulthood that can be enjoyed by kids of all ages. Make sure you clear some room and put your priceless action figures out of harms way. The game is played in teams with each team collecting sets of cards to help in the battle phase of the game, there is some easy to understand strategy involved. When it's time to fight - it's literally throwing burritos at each other - I haven't laughed that much since we played Anarchy Pancakes! It's a simple to understand game that is a ton of fun and will be a great addition to your next game night or party get-together. Enjoy!!
