ZWILLING Predicat 6-pc Burgundy White Glass Set

I have used these glasses at my wine bar since they first became available in Ontario, unfortunately I am now finding out that they have been discontinued. This is very unfortunate and hopefully Zwilling will reconsider and start producing them again as these really are the best glasses.

I love white Burgundys but hate putting them in a generic white wine glass. The shape of this one is perfect. It allows the wine to breathe just right to bring out all the distinct characteristics of the wine. The crystal is very clear. The glass is resilient and the reinforced stems make a product that will not break easily.

I never thought that the shape of a wine glass would make much of a difference to the taste of the wine, but after comparing wine in this glass with an all around wine glass, I have to say that they shape of the glass really does make a difference. This glass really elevate a fine Chablis or an oaky California Chardonnay.

These glasses are going to last for years and years because they are beautiful crystal. Crystal is clearer and stronger than glass because it contains minerals that strengthen it and make it more durable. This is a beautiful traditional shape too.

We put our wine glasses in the dishwasher after every use. I have been really pleased with how these have held up over time. There are no scratches or clouding and I have had these for a few years. Bought 2 sets because these are the perfect size of wine dinners and tasting parties.

I really like this glass. It is an ideal for bigger white wines that hold their body as they warm a little. But what I also like about this glass is that it doubles as a red wine glass without a blink.When I am in need of a few extra glasses the shape of this glass mirrors the Bordeaux red glasses. A little smaller (13 oz vs 21 oz to the brim), this glass still works, especially for the lighter drinkers in the group.Like the rest of the glasses in this line, they are made in Germany of a high-quality, lead-free crystal that is reinforced to reduce chipping and scratching.
