Description

ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A.     I bake sourdough bread every week and my greatest challenge was finding a bread knife that would make slicing the loaves smoothly and easily. My husband and I went to the shop in Pleasantville NY and happily received a thorough orientation in the different bread knives to choose from. We are very happy with our selection of the 8” Zwilling Pro bread knife, both the retention of sharpness and the knife’s performance as well as the weight and feel of the handle. Thank you for such a quality knife that will be well used.

    Lifetime forever bead knife

    Extremely happy with my purchase. This is a replacement knife. I purchased this bread knife 45 years ago and it was the best! Unfortunately, when we bought a new home and were doing renovations, living on sandwiches, it disappeared and never turned up. I HAD to replace it. It’s a lifetime quality forever knife. A must have in your kitchen arsenal!

    8" Bread Knife

    I have always wanted a decent bread knife to cut through bread. The cheap ones I had were like sawing through bread making a mess. Got this and it works great!! It provides smooth even cuts. Haven't tried it yet but I hear it works great on slicing tomatoes.
