I have cut my fingers twice in the last year with it. The blade makes a C-shape cut on skin that takes forever to heal. I'm a little bit scared every time I use it now but it's very efficient when it comes to cutting bread so I'll keep using it..

Sharp, great for sourdough

I bought this knife when my other knife (different brand) broke in half. I just needed a simple serrated edge knife so I could slice the bread I make each week. I was happy it was inexpensive and that there was zero chance of it breaking in half. HOWEVER, the literal first slicing movement I made with the knife almost took off my finger because the blade serrations were not sharp enough to cut through the crust. I thought "maybe it's just because it's a different knife than I'm used to." Alas - no. This knife is made for soft, crustless items: cheeses or tomatoes; not for actual bread with an actual crust.

Cuts great and feels good in your hand. Slices through homemade bread no problems.

I bought this to cut my sourdough bread. It doesn't do such a good job... will be returning. And it has a bit of a weird texture on the handle but nothing too uncomfortable

I now realize you need to replace your bread knife every 5 years. You cannot sharpen bread knives. This knife - after having a duller knife can be dangerous if you don’t pay attention. It is very sharp after using a duller one without realizing it. Highly recommend especially for the price.

Bought this for slicing sourdough bread and it does not disappoint. It slices through thick crust with ease. I like that it includes a blade gaurd because it's super sharp! 10/10.
