A great bread maker
I have made 5 different kinds of bread in it and pizza dough and they have all came out great. The manual that comes with it has a lot of great recipes. I love how compact it is and doesn’t take up much room in my counter. I highly recommend this bread maker.

Very basic bread maker
Device is easy to use but bread turns out inconsistent

We're sorry to hear the Compact Automatic Bread Maker has not been producing consistent results. Because bread quality can be affected by factors such as ingredient measurements, ingredient freshness, room temperature, and the order in which ingredients are added, we recommend carefully following the recipe instructions and measuring ingredients precisely, especially liquids and yeast. Ensuring the bread pan and kneading paddle are properly installed before each use may also help improve consistency. Thank you for sharing your feedback—your comments help us continue improving our products and consumer experience.

Have only used three times
We have to eat gluten-free so I purchased this based on a family members recommendation. I also purchased a gluten-free bread maker cookbook. Gluten-free bread is very difficult to make however I'm learning as I go. And I'm tweaking the timing. I've only made three loaves but each one gets better. I love the ease of use and I've never gone wrong with a Cuisinart product yet.

Lifesaver
It's been a long time since I made homemade bread. Cuisinart makes it easy to get back to basics without all the junk put in today's bread. Thank you.

Great bread maker with a some room for improvement
Really like this bread maker. We have had it since January (7 months) and probably made 20 loaves from 5 different recipes. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is that it would be helpful if you could use the "up/down" buttons to adjust the cook time. We find that it is almost always 15-17 minutes too long (so we end up using another timer to help take it out early).

Everything is a Compromise!
While this Cuisinart bread maker is great, I am offering suggestions. 1. Put the light in the lid so the mixing can be seen. 2. Offer some recipes for quick sourdough. I adapted one from my Oster manual. 3. Use an LED (rather than LCD) display that can be seen out doors. 4. A louder lower frequency beeper would be helpful for us aged users! Thank you very much! 😁 PS, I bake every 3 days!

Good for dorm room baking
I got this as I am an avid bread maker, but my dorm room did not have a suitable oven situation. It has worked pretty well– even with sourdough.

Great Bread Maker
This bread maker has brought the joy of fresh homemade bread to my family. It performs very well overall and is easy to use. However, there are two areas that could be improved in future models. First, the noise level is higher than expected during operation. Second, the machine tends to move around the countertop due to vibration while kneading. Addressing these two issues would take this product from a good bread maker to a truly great one.

Where’s the “Beeps”?
I’d give it a 5 if it gave me the 10 beeps after the 2nd knead, and flashed “paddle” like the booklet says. My machine doesn't do this, so I have to watch it to remove the paddle before baking.

We're sorry to hear your bread maker is not providing the add-in and paddle removal alerts described in the instruction booklet. To ensure the correct cycle is being used, we recommend verifying the selected program and reviewing the timing chart in the manual, as alert features can vary by recipe and cycle setting. For immediate assistance, please contact the Cuisinart Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference Ticket #8901033435. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we will share your feedback with our product team as comments like yours help guide improvements to future models; thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Makes Delicious Bread
I was excited with my first loaf. Really enjoyed it. However, the noise and banging during kneading was somewhat disturbing. Sounds like it is falling apart. This is something that needs to be addressed.
