Q: Does this have 3 separate cutting guides, or just one where you cut your loaf with some thin, some medium, and some thick slices? Maybe you need to move the bread around to get the thickness you want?

Everything about this bread slicing kit is great. It should be useful too. But it it not. First of all, the slice guides are spaced so that one slot causes you to slice the bread too thin - the bread just crumbles from such a thin slice. If you use two slots, the bread is SO thick. So the guides are not helpful.. The other problem is that the construction of the slicer means you cannot slice all the through at the bottom. So you have to pull the loaf out to cut through the bottom. This is a pain and makes the bread slice become unevern. I'll be returning it.

This is fairly simple to use easy to put together. I was impressed with how it was packaged, Really professionally packaged. The only issue I ran across was when I tried to use it to cut hot french bread which wasn’t working too well, it just made the bread flat when I cut it. But when I used it to cut cold bread it worked just fine like it should. The knife is pretty sharp and it's nice that it can magnetize to the side of the cutter. So it is easy to store when you disassemble it. For It being bamboo it doesn’t have a strong bamboo smell. So it makes me question if it is real bamboo. But other than that it works pretty well it’s a nice addition to the kitchen.

Love that my kids can now cut the bread and leave a straight cut. Amazing tool I didn't realize I needed.
