ZWILLING TWIN 16-slot Knife Block - Rustic White

The color received is not at all what was pictured. The picture looks almost white-washed with the wood grain showing through the stain. What was received is so solidly painted in white that is almost looks like plastic. And the white is VERY WHITE.

If you are looking for a simple and functional design for a knife rack this is a good choice. I can fit 8 steak knives in addition to a few larger knives for carving etc in addition to storing a meat cutting scissor. The wood is hardwood and very well fastened together, the slots are of generous size and properly spaced apart and the entire block is not too large for my counter. Good workmanship color and reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

I needed a large storage block to hold my ever growing knife collection. This one holds them all with more room to grow. It has a variety of sized slots including for scissors and my honing steel. The lower area is great for steak knives and smaller utility pieces.

I like buying knives separately instead of a block set, but I still wanted to store all my knives in a block, so this was the perfect block for it. I really like that it has a slot for my vegetable cleaver, not all blocks have a slot big enough for that. Stores all my knives well and is built with solid wood, so as to not crack over time. The white rustic aesthetic of the block looks great in any kitchen, especially a country farmhouse style kitchen.
