apricorn usb

Apricorn secure USB drives use hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption in XTS mode and require an onboard keypad PIN for authentication. Both encryption and PIN handling are performed on the device.

Secure USB keys are offered in 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB. Padlock SSD models are shown in 1 TB and 2 TB capacities.

Apricorn encrypted drives are cross-platform and OS-agnostic, explicitly listing Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and Chrome. They also support embedded systems and any equipment with a powered USB port and a standard storage file system.

“Software-free” means the device performs encryption and PIN authentication on the hardware itself—using 256-bit AES (XTS) and an onboard keypad—so encryption and authentication are handled by the drive rather than host software.

No. The drive remains invisible to the host computer until it is unlocked using the onboard keypad PIN.

Most Apricorn products list a 3 Year Limited Warranty in the product details.
