best electric lawnmower

Robotic mowers in these listings cover roughly 0.2 acre up to about 1 acre, while the cordless walk-behind models are presented as suitable for roughly 1/4 acre up to about 1/2 acre.

Cutting widths in the listings range from about 7.9–8.7 inches on smaller robotic units up to roughly 15–20 inches on the cordless walk-behind mowers.

The cordless walk-behind mowers list adjustable cutting heights roughly from 1.5" up to about 3.5"–4", typically using a multi-position single-lever adjustment. Height details for the robotic models are not specified in the provided listings.

The robotic mowers use AI-driven systems such as HDR/stereo cameras, RTK and V-SLAM sensor fusion, and neural-network-based obstacle avoidance to map lawns, identify mowing zones, and detect or avoid hazards.

The walk-behind cordless mowers support mulching and bagging, and some add rear side discharge. One model is described as 3-in-1 (mulching, bagging, rear side-discharging) while another lists 2-in-1 bagging and mulching.

Robotic mowers describe intelligent obstacle avoidance, rain sensing with return-to-base, and GPS/cellular tracking with remote lock features. Cordless walk-behind models emphasize quieter electric operation and easy electric start (no pull cord).
