Most glitter vinyl and glitter iron-on materials are PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film. Glitter iron-on is a PET-based heat-transfer film designed to be applied with a heat press, household iron, or a heat tool following the product’s pressing instructions.

Follow the product’s care guidance: allow 24 hours after application before washing; wash and tumble dry garments inside out; avoid bleach; and, if ironing is needed, iron only on the garment’s backside (follow the product’s heat settings).

Adhesive (permanent) glitter vinyl: cut on a cutting mat, weed excess material, then apply to the surface using its water-resistant adhesive—vinyl lies flat for a clean cut. Glitter iron-on (heat transfer): cut and weed, then apply with a heat press, household iron, or heat tool following the product’s pressing and care instructions.
