large knob puzzles

Most listings target babies and toddlers and are labeled for about 12 months (1 year) and up; some sets are described for around 2 years.

Listings most often describe wood-based construction—solid wood, plywood, or MDF—with some puzzles including printed paper surfaces or occasional small metal parts.

Many listings show full‑color matching pictures printed on the board under each piece to guide matching and reinforce recognition.

Listings describe oversized, extra‑thick wooden knobs or pegs—often called jumbo or easy‑grip knobs—shaped to be easy for small hands to grasp.

Toddlers practice fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, visual perception, color and shape recognition, matching and memory, and early problem‑solving.
