Listings distinguish bowl types such as dinner bowls and cereal bowls (one listing even calls an all-purpose dinner bowl a "blates"). Reported sizes vary by set: dinner bowls are typically about 7.75–8.5 inches, while cereal bowls are around 6–6.5 inches.
Several listings explicitly state "Do not microwave" or similar microwave restrictions. Multiple items and serving trays are labeled BPA-free, but microwave use is generally discouraged.
Descriptions emphasize thick melamine construction that mimics the feel of ceramic while reducing breakage, making these pieces well suited for outdoor dining and family-friendly entertaining. Care instructions still commonly specify dishwasher top-rack only and no microwave.
