We have a big living room with multiple pieces that had to "float" and the whole effect has always seemed off to me, particularly the big open space in the center. I debated on 3 different rugs for a long time, trying to decide on the goal of having a rug. Do I want pattern or do I want color? Ultimately it was about color as I already had a mild pattern in my carpet. And oh how I was hoping that the blue-green in the picture was the same teal color I already had as accents in the room and in the connecting dining and kitchen and SCORE it was the perfect match. Actually all the colors in the rug pull together my whole room with its gray walls, white sheers and dark chocolate furniture with throw pillows in shades of teal and all the "floating" pieces are connected together in a better defined space. The more I look at this, the more I like it and yes, its soft to walk on barefoot. I've been incredibly pleased with the quality of all my rugs.com purchases and this one is yet another. Good price, quick delivery, high quality and wow does it make an impact in a room!
