This can help if you are low in hormones, it's the master hormone. It helped me, and I take it sometimes. Best to to take it long term unless with medical supervision.

Hormonal regulation

I have been using DHEA since my hysterectomy back in 2008. The Swanson brand is the best and I have been using it for about 8 years now. I have tried many other brands. The Swanson quality is great. *In my opinion: the optimal way to take this is with protein.

I have taken dhea for a number of years. I read an article that explained that dhea can be used in the body to make hormones like adrenaline, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Our body’s can decide what needs a boost and can use the dhea as a building block. I find it seems to improve my overall energy and stamina.

If you are over 40...

I have taken DHEA for many years (now 67) and have truly noticed that this uspplement, matched with antioxidants, leaves me feeling very youthful, as if the years are not passing by.
