The cans are great, but I miss the texture and flavors of making fresh cranberry sauce with Ocean Spray Fresh berries, it's so easy! I wash them, add a half a cup of orange juice, sugar to taste (about 1 cup), peel and cut up a ripe pear and boil for about 15 min, while stirring. YUM! I really like to mix the fresh batch with the can - perfection!

I'd like to see a version that doesn't have high fructose corn syrup in it. Your recipe for using fresh or frozen cranberries just calls for sugar, it would be nice if you did the same with your canned products.

Did you change the recipe for your jellied cranberry sauce? I just opened two separate cans and the consistency was mushy and it didn’t taste right. I am very disappointed as this is my sons favorite treat with dinner. I had to throw both cans away as they were terrible. What happened? Cans were new and unexpired

Will not buy as long as you’re using HighFructoseCornSyrup. There is much scientific evidence that it is not healthy to use. Found a regional store that has a Jellied and WholeBerry cranberry sauce that doesn’t use HFCS and it’s fantastic. Problem is I go south for the winter and can’t find a substitute. I substitute unsweetened apple sauce. I believe a natural sweetener such as STEVIA would be a better alternative to HFCS.

My family has been eating your jellied cranberry sauce for many years. My aunt enjoys it always with chicken or turkey. However, she lives alone and never eats the entire can. Would you consider having individual snack cups that could be eaten with many meals or just as a snack?

We haven't bought your Ocean Spray cranberry sauce for years after you started using that crumby HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup). Other food manufacturers provide alternatives to ingesting what we consider a "bad" ingredient (HFCS). However, I wish Ocean Spray would wake up to the fact that they have lost customers due to this "let's see how much we can cheapen the product" strategy. We'd start buying it again if they went an ingredient like cane sugar instead of HFCS. Some of us would be willing to pay extra for a better product with healthier ingredients. Hi we completely understand your concerns regarding the sweetener. We would be happy to pass your concerns to the appropriate department. Cranberries are naturally low in sugar and require sweetening for consumers to enjoy the taste and reap the benefits. There is no scientific evidence that suggests high fructose corn syrup acts differently in the body than any other sweetener. Based on consumer request, we removed high fructose corn syrup from our juices and juice drinks several years ago, replacing it with cane or beet sugar. However, high fructose corn syrup remains the best sweetener for our cranberry sauces and its continued use allows us to provide the quality product you expect from us.
