I've used tarte Amazonian clay tinted moisturizer in light medium for years. No longer available (of course), so tried this. Picked the same light medium, but this is much darker and also very greasy. Yuck.

I've been using the Tarte BB Moisturizer in the shade Fair for many years and absolutely loved this product. The formula was light, sat perfectly under makeup, and the Fair shade was a perfect match for my skin tone. I purchased a new bottle not realizing that it was a new formula, and wore it under my makeup just like always for an important event. The new formula is much thicker and pastier, it sets in your lines, and left me looking like a ghost face in all the photos that were taken at the event, with the cream creasing and setting on lines. Absolutely horrible. At the very least, there should have been some kind of notice on the packaging letting customers know that it was a new formula. I would have done a test run prior to my event to make sure the new formula worked, instead of trusting that I was using the same exact product I've been using for years, only to end up with my makeup and photos looking like an absolute mess. Please bring the old formula back. This thick, pasty, new formula is heavy, turns my face more oily, and at least the shade "Fair" no longer matches my skin tone.

I have been using this tinted primer for the past 3 to 4 years and my skin has never been more flawless. I have combination skin and I could never find anything that would not irritate my skin or cause random acne until this. This BB cream is the best primer and Foundation. I have tried to find something similar and cannot so please don't discontinue this product it literally works miracles!! p.s this goes perfect with it under eye ... jus sayin xoxo💋

56 yrs old, wearing makeup most of my life and ive never found a "foundation" that's as perfect as this one. It's not heavy- it feels like moisturizer and blends into my skin well- it has spf, it looks natural- it makes my skin look clean, dewy, not oily (i have oily skin), it stays all day, it doesn't start to slip off, or wear off - my skin looks as fresh at the end of the day as it did when i put it on. Ive NEVER left a review for make up before because I've never fallen in love with any particular makeup UNTIL NOW- when it has been sold out for some time!! All I see are 4-5 star reviews and people looking for it!! Please don't stop making this!!

The primer was so much better...better coverage and my foundation stayed on all day and then some. This does not have good coverage and it feels greasy and I don't think my foundation stays on as well. Bring back the original product i have used for years.

This tinted moisturizer has decent coverage and goes on smoothly like it has a built-in primer. It blends easily with a brush and stays on all day. I have "mature" skin (I'm 57 and it really helps even out my skin tone. It truly has a "blurring" quality as the name implies. I was concerned that the spf would irritate my sensitive skin, but I really don't notice it.

This was the absolute best product. ALL the good reviews you are reading are TRUE if you are using the older style with the smaller cap (seems lile the new tubes have a slightly longer cap). Absolutely awful product now. Makes my pores look huge, does NOT blend at all, makes my skin look dry and old, cakes and creases durring the day, blotchy, eww I have nothing good to say. Will have to find another product like TOMORROW, I purchased and extra one months ago and just finished squeezing out the last bit and opened a new tube... Horrible. BRING BACK THE OLD PRODUCT!!!!

My everyday go to! I love that it really is light but buildable coverage that is long lasting. They say it has a matte finish but I actually like it because it has a dewy effect. Sometimes it’ll get too dewy and I’ll use a setting powder or my favorite light weight mattifying foundation. I am 40 with rosacea and this does a beautiful job of reducing the appearance of redness and my freckles. It can crease a little under the eyes but nothing a quick swipe with your finger won’t fix.

The finish of this BB cream is perfect, soft but not shiny. It leaves my skin with a smooth, even appearance and adds just a hint of color for brightening. I love the airy feel of the cream and its blend-ability; I rarely need concealer when using this. Having the sunscreen protection is a boon! This is a one and done product for me which saves time and money. I use it everyday, and it is so nice for travel.
