This collagen peptides powder is sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine to ensure a high quality and sustainable source of this powerful ingredient. Collagen is found in all of our connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and bones with its purpose being to provide these body parts with their strength, structure and elasticity. As we get older, our bodies become less efficient at producing collagen, which is why we recommend introducing ingestible collagen to your diet.

I have been using this product for over a year and have felt it made a big difference for my hair, nails and skin. I was thrilled that this product dissolved completely into my coffee and did not leave any taste...up until I got my most recent shipment last month. I suspect you have changed the formula since this new container does not dissolve completely, is clumpy, leaves a mild residue on the top of my drink and makes it taste bitter and borderline undrinkable. I am fine with the company removing the scoop but really urge you to bring back whatever formula you were using prior. I am not likely to buy this product again at this point, which is disappointing since I was satisfied until now and had been recommending VP to friends. No more.

I thought I had found a solid everyday product. The reduction of the scoop has nothing to do with a responsible future; but an increase in profits - financial future. I hope the new formula did not reduce the beneficial ingredients to the customer. I'm not sure about this product to MY future. Researching other products.

I had to retrieve my scoop from the recycle container! Whew! On the new label, without the scoop, it shows 4 tablespoons as a serving size rather than 1-2 scoops. I measured out 2 tablespoons, and it's the same as one scoop. So if you no longer have your scoop, simply measure with a tablespoon. Hope this helps! Love the product!

I have been using vital proteins collagen peptides for about 1 year and loved the product. My recent purchase has a different consistency and taste. The product is clumpy in my coffee, doesn’t fully dissolve and has a bitter taste. Please bring back the prior product.

Our Collagen Peptides Advanced is made with three ingredients -- collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C -- which is the same combination as the previous formula. So while the name and label look differently, the formula, manufacturing process and certifications remain the exact same.

I really miss the scoop on each container. I've had to use the same one over and over. Now the handle has broken off. Do you really save that much money on the playing scoops? I'm thinking of switching brands that still provide a scoop.

We’re phasing out our plastic scoops—removing a little plastic from our products is a small but meaningful step toward a more responsible future. But we get it, you’re used to your tub coming with a scoop. Though we’re removing our scoop, you can still expect the same bone, joint, hair, skin & nails benefits from collagen peptides that you know and love. The recommended serving sizes will remain the same. We will simply change the instructions on the label, shifting from scoops to tablespoons. Exact instructions and measurements will be provided on each label for reference.
