I always wash before I use and they are a generous size even after washing and drying and they are soft. I did notice there were some pulls in them and for $20/towel, I would expect them to be perfect.

the least absorbent towel I have ever seen. just smears the water around even after multiple washings. what's the point of a bath towel that doesn't soak to any water?

I've never owned Egyptian cotton anything so I was very excited to try these towels. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that when you get them out of the package they have a really weird and nauseatingly bad smell. Obviously you wash your towels before you use them anyways but I have never opened stinky towels before. Anyways my whole family agrees these are so sof and they love using them.

Egyptian Cotton towels are the way! My towels are soft and thick. These towels absorb the water off your body and dry your hair amazing compared to my other towels. The wash cloths are soft and can make lots of bubbles while in the shower. The hand towels are a decent size and I just love them too!

Wow this towel set is so super soft and luxurious! I love how big the wash clothes are and the hand towels are slightly bigger than the standard so they look good hanging on a hook. They had a slight odor upon receiving them but one wash and they were good.
