Very thin fabric

I have 2 Lands End tankini tops. They are both the crossover style. They fit good and are made of thick fabric. I wanted a different style so I ordered this underwire v-neck. It is not quality like the 2 others I have. I ordered it in 18 W. The cups are too small and make it look like I have a uniboob. Unflattering.

Nice tankini - poor bra pads

I just received two tops in this style today. I have only had the opportunity to try them on once. Positives: the fit is great, length is great, and the option to adjust straps is great. Negative: there is only one negative, but it is enough to spoil my satisfaction with the top. That negative is the removable bra pads. I could NOT get them to remain in place, even when not wearing the garment. They kept returning to a bunched-up status every time. I removed the pads to see what I was working with. They are flimsy and creased in such a manner that they will never lay smoothly within the bra pocket. I will wear the tankini without the pads, but will never purchase a swimsuit with "removable pads" again.

This top was way too tight in the busy area. The underwire is very unnecessary for the cup size and the straps are made has if they will need to hold up boulders. I ordered a size 6 and an a C cup. I took the underwire out and it still look like I was trying to stuff my chest in. Definitely not worth the money.

Removable bra pads ruin this otherwise great tank

I had to return this because the removable bra pads are ridiculous. They don't stay in place, they scrunch up, they crease, and they generally make the top look terrible. I don't understand why Land's End does this with every underwire tankini top. Just sew in pads like you do with non-underwires and everything will be fine. If someone really hates this very thin layer of padding, let them take it out. 90% of us are fine with a thin pad if it actually stays in place.

Need Petite Plus, Underwire Pokes, Pad tangle

This item would be really flattering if it came in petite plus. LE has Plus Long swimwear but not Plus Petite for us short and plus sized. This tankini would probably work if you are taller. This item was basically a swim dress on me and when I tried to tighten the string the amount of extra fabric around the waist was laughable. Beyong the sizing issue, the bra pads bunch up and are hard to smooth out (though they are removable). The underwire is huge and was poking me in my armpit. I would love to see this silhouette (v-neck tankini) in a wire free swim tankini. Returned.

Good Top until it isn't

Bought this for a swimming class. One reviewer mentioned difficulty getting on and off wet. It is difficult and has to come down rather than over the head. Not easy when it is wet. I have worn this only a few times and today the straps broke. This is not the first time I have had straps come undone. They are not attached securely. I will have to really rethink buying another suit from Lands End.

Fits!

So many bad fitting experiences made me skeptical but this one made me a believer! The under-wire was snug as I pulled it up, but when I got the girls in place, I was thrilled. DDD really is what it says. Full coverage, full support.

Great if your flat chested

Unfortunately, this plus size thank you May had to be returned. I have no issue with the quality or the manufacturing, unfortunately I am a J, K bra cup size and the tankini unfortunately, was just too small for my Apple Blossom. All of us have our own unique body shape, so hopefully you will find this garment satisfactory, sadly it wasn’t for me.

The most supportive tankini ever

I ordered this to wear with some board shorts, and didn’t have high expectations of it. Well, it is the most supportive tankini top I’ve ever bought! There’s a built in bra which is very sturdy - not at all like the flimsy elastic ones you usually get in swimwear. The top is not only really supportive, it’s also really flattering - a great length and also a nice wide V cut neckline which gives great cleavage too.

Almost my favorite swimtop

I love everything about this top except that the padding in the bra is removable. Because If this, it will not stay in place. It folds up easily and leaves creases that are easily seen through the outer layer. If they would make this with a sewn-in bra it would be perfection.
