I purchased these on December 7, 2024 for the 2002 Camry. One bulb failed March 4, 2026. Regular usage at night and sometimes during the day on roads that state "headlights on during the day for safety". My DRLs are from the high beams (9005), which are not ultras so they will last a very long time without issue. These ultra halogen bulbs simply are not worth it because they do not last. They are not meant to last a long time since they are the "ultra" halogens. The higher quality means they will not last, only 200-300hrs. It simply no longer makes sense to buy halogens when LEDs are available. The only reason why they state that LEDs are not DOT approved and street legal is because there are dummies that install them incorrectly, which will blind other drivers. Just buy the Sylvania 9006 ultra LEDs and be glad that you did. They are brighter, they obviously last MUCH longer (10,000+ hours) and they are easily much less expensive because you won't ever have to replace them! If you buy these halogen lights, they WILL fail and you WILL have to replace them (even if you don't get any fingerprints on the glass). It does not make any sense to buy these when you can just buy the 9006 ultra LEDs for low beam headlights. They will work and you don't have to worry about flickering because the DRLs work off the high beams, NOT the low beams.

I have used these headlights and all my cars for years now they are excellent. I don't know what some of the reviewers are talking about. They are without a doubt much brighter than the stock headlights that come in my cars. There's one caveat about them they only last about 2 years and then they tend to burn out. They last twice as long as the regular silver stars so in my opinion it's not bad. I'm thinking about trying the newer sle's but I haven't tried them yet so I can't really comment about them. Hope this helps anybody that's thinking about buying them they are very good.

The Bulb Finder Tool got it wrong
I ordered based upon the recommendation of the Find Your Bulb tool on the website. Unfortunately, I didn't know that the bulb was wrong until it was out of the blister pack and about to be plugged in. That's when I discovered that the bulb and the connector were incompatible. Can't return an open blister pack, so I'm the proud owner of two useless bulbs.. :-(

This is not white to me
Well the thing is that I want white, and after I bought it and replaced it. It still looks a little yellow. I don't know because it the light is warm or not but totally not white.

A Few Years of Ownership
I knew it was time to replace my 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 OEM headlights. Although, they were the originals after twenty years, it was time for an upgrade. It is true, things appear much brighter/ whiter, and I do see further down the road. I also keep my OEM lens spotless. These or any other lights are not going to show improvement if you have cloudy lenses. You're just illuminating the film that has built up over the years. I do have a concern. I wanted to update my high beams in my '99 Accord. The product number concerns me. 9006 is for low beam, and 9005 is for high beam? This is what is documented on the website. However, 9005's do not state whether high or low. Are these Halogens interchangeable? Oh yes, you will be receiving an email from me. Right after I complete this review.

Not the right one
The product itself was fine. Packaged and came quickly. But it was the wrong bulb. I input the information about my car and the answered the questions to find the right one for my car, but it ultimately wasn't. I reached out to return but because I had opened it (only after opening didn't I realize it wasn't the right type) I was ineligible to return.

Sylvania Silverstar is the OEM supplier for most auto manufacturers. Great visibility excellent products if you're looking for OEM fit and function Silverstar Ultra is a great replacement. I've only installed Silverstar Ultra since 2008 I have an entire fleet of vehicles 99 of them for the company I work for they are all equipped with Silverstar Ultra

Never buying again I returned them
I always see cars on the streets with really bright lights. I bought these thinking these was the ones and since the website says you can see the farthest out with these. But these are the worse headlights they were not bright AT ALL! In fact I almost got in an accident because i was driving in the rain and I couldn't see anything with these light bulbs. I will never buy again. I don't want anyone to almost get in an accident because they can't see like I did, so please don't buy. Save yourself the money & get something brighter.

Does not fit
Does not fit my 2006 GMC envoy XL which it says it does and I was also told that at the parts store,so i drive all the way home 45 minutes take it apart. I'm a female that's never worked on a car in my life. Get it all taken apart and it doesn't fit. So now I get to drive back 45 minutes without a headlight !! really stupid.

its a miracle for older vehicle
now the older Chevy Trailblazer work horse feels better than new. these headlights makes my night driving a pleasure, the bright clear light is astonishing compared to the yellowish factory replacements I have used for way too long! install time around 20 minutes.

No brighter than "regular" headlights
I paid extra for these because they were supposed to be brighter and better. I replaced them in the dark purposely so I could compare from one to the other. They are no brighter than the original headlights. Very disappointed I paid extra for them.

Auto Fog lamp replacement
Glad to be able to get a replacement, and with a selection of types and qualities, for a fog lamp on a 2004 Acura MDX with almost 214,000 miles. The other one was still working, but I replaced it at the same time.

These bulbs are junk
I purchase a package of two a month ago from Carquest in spring valley California. The passenger side went out a week ago and the driver side this week (11-2021). You are better going to dealer and getting the OEM ones. Do not waste your money. Bulbs are junk. Will try to get my money back from Carquest.

Light Bulb
I was so happy to try this product and it was bright and it was easy to install. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to use a light Bob and I hope that there is coupons and more samples in the future.

Fantastic
I was dubious that this headlight would be significantly brighter or whiter than my old halogen bulb. My doubts were completely unfounded – this bulb is so incredibly bright and so much whiter than my OEM bulb! Wow! These are worth it.
