Q: Just how is the 'rise' measured for these shorts? According to 'Google', the rise on shorts varies between 7 - 13 inches. These are in the 20's?

  • A: Hold the tape at the center back of your waist. Run the tape between your legs, pulling comfortably at the crotch, and up to your natural waist in front. The total measurement is your rise.

    Still a good pant.

    I bought these to replace a pair I’ve been wearing for 3 years. The new ones are a thinner and more slippery material, but otherwise they are the same in fit and style. So great they have pockets.

    Every women is better than these pants

    I was so disappointed in these. I bought 2 sizes small and medium and you definitely want to size down. The waist band was thin and the pants just ballooned out from there. The color was nice and the fabric is comfortable but these pants had no style whatsoever. I’m not sure why it’s so difficult to find stylish yet comfortable capris pants.

    Super comfy!

    Super comfy! I accidentally bought my first pair in “Tall” at the store. I didn’t realize it until I went online to order more. I am 5’3 and I like how the tall falls just below my calf. They fit like a super comfy pair of cotton sweatpants. It’s exactly what I wanted for an upcoming surgery . The first pair I bought at the store were “white” as I wanted them for the beach vacation for when relaxing around the pool or house. They do run big, but I like the oversized fit for coziness.

    Great product! Bring back the CHARCOAL color!

    I have 4 pairs of charcoal gray Sport Knit Elastic Waist Pull On Capri pants. I wear them EVERY day around the house. They have become my uniform, super comfortable & easy to move in, whether I am cleaning house or helping husband grease the tractor. PLEASE bring back the CHARCOAL pull on capri pants AND the CHARCOAL shorts!!!

    Capri isnt available anymore

    I've been buying these for 30 years. The past year they are baggier and longer. These have been my shorts (I'm almost 80 now) as I want to cover my upper legs. Now they're like slacks. Capri is just below the knee. The picture isn't accurate

    Quite big, probably could have got into a smaller size but now sold out so will keep these. Perfect length for me. Not worn yet but hoping they will keep their shape when wearing & not go baggy at the knees

    Sad that the plus/petite sizes are not offered!!

    I miss the plus/petite size!! I’m quite short and heavy, and really loved the length of the plus petite capris, 15” inseam.

    Not what I was expecting

    Not the product I was hoping for. Needed comfortable knit capris for an upcoming trip. This was the only option at the time and I was hoping it would be similar to another pair I had gotten from LE previously. Very comfortable, but very baggy and sloppy looking. I'm not sure if a smaller size would help. (I typically wear a medium)

    Size not consistent with Starfish pants

    One of the things I appreciate about Lands end is there consistent sizing that makes it easier to know what size in a new item will fit. As someone who usually wears starfish pants/crops, I bought the same size in the sport knit capris and was very surprised to learn that they seemed to be HUGE in comparison. I had to order down a size in the second pair I bought to have a reasonably good fit.

    I have noticed lately that all the long pants are way way too long. I didn’t order the tall I’m 230 pounds 5 feet nine. There’s at least five or 6 inches that need to be cut off. Lesson learned.
