This has been my favorite scent in past years from yankee. You can’t even smell the scent standing directly next to the burning candle. Extremely disappointed and a huge waste of money

As a long-time fan of these 22oz jar candles I can tell you that these normally take about 2 1/2 hours before they reach their "scent prime". The candle should get to a point where the top 1/2 inch of the wax is fully melted and the flame is atop the melted wax releasing scent. THESE CANDLES DON"T DO THAT ANYMORE. The last several I have purchased burn completely uneven and straight down the center of the candle. The wax never gets fully melted and it doesn't release any scent.

Love this scent. I feel that while they are not inexpensive, you get your money’s worth. People don’t understand that candles have a minimum burn time. A good rule of thumb is that you burn an hour for every inch in diameter. That’s how long it takes to melt the surface so you don’t end up with a narrow burn column down the center. So I don’t light one of these big jar candles unless I know I can have it lit for at least 3 hours, preferably 4.
