I haven't purchased Mac products for more than 20 years. I was on the hunt for a nude, matte (yet moisturizing) lipstick and the wonderful salesperson at Ulta suggested MAC. After helping me sample various nude colors, I knew my hunt was over. First of all, it went on smooth. My lips didn't feel dry. In fact, the color stayed on all day. Even after eating and drinking. This is my new go to product. I will definitely buy other lip colors from the Mac brand.

This color is only one or two shades darker than my actual lips so I wasn't sure if it was worth it. But after a few days of wear I think it's perfect for me. It's noticeable but not too bold. I've been into neutrals lately and I think it compliments my freckles. I use a moisturizing gloss before application. I love the vanilla fragrance. I'm so excited because I haven't bought a new lipstick since before covid and my first pick was this perfect Velvet Teddy.

I got the color folio, which is the second tube I bought cuz its so beautiful. I seriously hope mac doesn't discontinue it, also the formula is perfect, lasts all day is matte but doesn't dry out my lips

I own at least a dozen shades of MACximal Silky Matte Lipstick. Incredible colors and staying power when use with a proper MAC Lip Liner Pencil and a quick spray of MAC Fix after application with a lip brush. A yummy, sexy look.

Decided to try out this mini, before purchasing the full-size, and I'm sold! I usually only wear glossy lip stuff because regular lipsticks dry my lips out. This is the only one I've found that doesn't, so I plan to buy full sizes in all colors!

I was disappointed that Daddy's Girl had been discontinued as it as a little more pink and not matte Big Teddy. Big Teddy does pair well with Dervish lip liner though.
