Cheap and took forever to assemble

Do not recommend this item. It took me 5 hours to assemble, which I felt was way longer than necessary for a cheap bookshelf. And yes, you get what you pay for, the materials are cheap. The wood chipped as I was attempting to drill in some of the screws and the back is made of that flimsy "cardboard" material which I was hoping to avoid but I suppose that's why it was under $100. Overall, not a product I recommend nor would buy again.

Missing shelving pegs

The shelving itself was easy to put together, even with one person. However, the pegs for holding the shelves were missing. Target only allows a full return, so instead of just getting the missing pieces, I have to deconstruct the entire bookcase, bring it to a store, get a new one and then assemble the new one.

Dimensions inaccurate

Width of this item is not 31.5” as stated but is 32”, so I can’t stack it with another item from this brand which also states the width is 31.5” but is actually 30”.

Junk + waste of money
