Women's Seersucker Maxi A-Line Dress - A New Day™

I wanted to love this dress, it looks better in the picture. When I tried on it I looked like a balloon, and I am size xs. The fabric is stiff and uncomfortable

Great dress however the sizing is a bit off. Had to exchange for a smaller size.

This is so comfortable. It’s huge though, extremely roomy. The top fit around my ribs though so I’ll deal with the rest of it being a little big. Also, it has pockets!

Okay, this dress from a distance looks super cute and fits nicely. For reference I generally wear a 2x, am 5’9” with a curvy hourglass shape. The pattern and shape on is awesome BUT where it all went wrong is the material. This is literally like a hospital gown, or if you’re someone that has to visit the gynecologist then this is feels WAYYYY too much like the little cover they put over you as your doctor coaxes you into that scooch scooch scooch on down to the edge. It’s, thin, it’s see through and while I would be stoked to get to put this one for my exams, wearing it out in public? Not so much. What a bummer!

I just had a baby and was trying to find a dress where I could hide my belly. There’s too much fabric, so it ended up making me look like I was pregnant instead. It’s a pass for me.

This is a lovely summer dress and the fabric is a COTTON seersucker texture. It’s perfect and you stay cool in oppressive humidity and summer heat. It’s very maxi length: I’m 5’5” and it falls at my ankles. My daughter is 5’9” and it fits her perfectly, falling a few inches above her ankles. Just BUY IT!!!

Very good for summer and travel. Material is light and airy. Recommend for outside parties

I love this dress so much. Originally bought to wear with a sweater to a funeral. I can also wear it for date nights or other occasions I need to dress up for. My daughter loves it, also & I had to buy her one of her own because she kept taking mine to wear for her band concerts!

Size down. Bigger than typical sizing. Love the fit and the pockets!

I brought this dress to wear to my mother in laws funeral. I like that’s was nice and comfortable especially on a hot day. I would definitely purchase it in another color

Bought this in white and black. Really preferred the white but had to return it because it was so see-through on the skirt portion. The chest part was fine, but even white panties showed through on the bottom. Wish the skirt was as thick as the top. Kept the black one.

Love the fabric and pattern. Great that there are pockets! You’ll need to size down as the dress is somewhat tent like - definitely more for comfort than to flatter your figure! I am 5’4” 122lbs and ordered a size small. Hits long at my ankles and again huge through the bottom.

The dress is very flattering and made with a thicker material (but still cool in summer).

Ordered online and when it got here I was super excited! The pockets are *chefs kiss* and not too shallow. I'm 5'4" and the length is great, comes down to about 2" above my ankle (size small). I am bustier (D cup) so I wish there was a little more fabric coverage but I needed a size small everywhere else so that's sort of a normal experience for me with clothing. The straps are adjustable and stay up pretty well. One thing I really like is that it comes up higher on the area in frony near my armpits so it covers my little roll of skin right there haha The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the fabric (while great quality and doesn't get super hot) is pleated under the bodice so it fluffs out in the skirt part a bit. I wasn't expecting that, I thought it would sit a little flatter against my body. I wasnt so sure about that part at first, it sort of felt like I was trying to hide a pregnancy bump. But wearing it out to run errands it actually didn't bother me, it moves well and doesn't get caught around my legs or anything. Also helps keep it cooler I think! That being said, it would be a fabulous maternity dress too!

I got the pink. I love the depth and color of the dress skirt. It looks more expensive than it is, especially with a colorful necklace. You don't even really need a bra.

Love this dress. It’s comfortable. Love the pockets. It’s has lots of material and that’s what I like about it. The material has just the right amount of drape for me. It’s a bit longer than I wanted, but I clip up the bottom on the side and I’m good to go. I have two and these are gonna be my go to dresses this summer.

So so big! The XS is like a small or maybe even medium!
