Q: Will these keep feet warm in the winter? We do not get much snow where I live but every now and then we get just alittle. Wondering if these would be good for that?

  • A: Hi, thank you for contacting us. These rain boots have a thin lining, but with warm socks they may be good for short walks in a little snow. They are not made as snow boots for playing in the snow.

They are very cute, but I really care about the materials used and what touches my child’s skin. The note in the description recommending “wear high socks to avoid irritation” should have been a red flag. As soon as I opened the bag, there was a strong chemical smell. I’m disappointed that this product is even an option to purchase for children. I do, however, appreciate the transparency of including a tag that explains the materials.

They are a hard rubber, which makes them sturdy. However, the bottom of the shoe has no grip. Like other rain boots made with a more flexible and soft rubber. I feel like has more grip to the ground. I would not recommend wearing these in the snow or when it's icy outside because these boots will absolutely have no grip. They're very slippery. It's weird the bottom is so hard that it feels like plastic, not rubber

Great quality, but falling off

We measured my kids feet and bought according to the sizing recommendations for these boots, but unfortunately they fall off his feet when he tries to run. Could be because he has skinny legs/feet? Either way we won't be able to enjoy them unless he is wearing thick socks.

Wrong sizing on site

6T- they gave me a baby size 6…. Targets online shoe sizes are definitely off. This is the 3rd time trying to order shoes and they give the wrong sizing. But I do love these boots - this is the second season wanting to order for all 4 kids. I’ll be ordering elsewhere.

Definitely recommend! So cute! Easy to slip on and take off. The width is great for a toddler’s growing feet. Despite the light color I purchased (taupe gloss), they hold up really well with not getting dirty or scuff marks!
