Good, not great
Sound quality is not great out of the box but after some fine tuning it gets better. It's stylish and looks expensive...well it is expensive for what you get.

The best headphones you’ll ever invest in
I’ve been trying these headphones for the past few weeks and wow am I impressed. I’ve worn them casually, to the gym, at home and they haven’t let me down in any areas at all. The sound quality is next to none, the noise cancelling being the star of the show. Before purchasing these I was undecided on what headphones to go, watched countless TikTok reviews and breakdowns of different brands, but I’m so glad I went for these! I couldn’t recommend them enough. My only critique I’d say is I’d wish they’d release a few extra colours like browns or some brighter maybe? Other than that 10/10.

Love the sound quality, but...
The sound quality is amazing, especially considering the 30mm drivers, and the LDAC Bluetooth codec really helps. The Sound Connect app disconnects quite often, and the sound out of the box is a bit boxy, but with some EQ adjustments, you can achieve an almost audiophile-level profile.

Supply a charger!
This is my first ever Sony headphones. It is very disappointing that they couldn't supply a charger for such an expensive set of headphones. As a first impression this has annoyed me. This has nothing to do with environmental concerns this is Sony penny pinching.

Great quality and comfy
These are my first pair of noise cancelling headphones. I bought them for when I'm travelling to shut out the background noise of trains / planes. They've been a revelation! The noise cancelling is excellent, as is the overall sound quality. The app has lots of useful features although I've not found it necessary to change many of the default settings. The only negative I've found is that the audio cable (if you need to use them wired) doesn't plug in easily - I thought they were faulty until I pushed the plug in much harder.

Impressive
I just received the item and tried the very first time and bite that I’m in a cafe and holllyyy the noise cancelling of this product is beyond expectation. Very very happy with the purchase and yes this is my first time owning sony headphone and it did meet my expectation. Came $100 off sale plus student discount.

The flagship multipoint connection feature is fundamentally broken and feels incredibly unstable during daily use. It constantly suffers from what I can only describe as connection corruption; if I am listening to audio on my computer and briefly use my phone for even a second, the sound from my computer vanishes entirely. Even more frustrating is that standard troubleshooting steps like toggling Bluetooth or manually reconnecting via the PC do absolutely nothing to restore the stream. The only way to get the headphones to function properly again is to perform a full hardware restart of the device. Having to power cycle my headphones multiple times a day just to handle basic task-switching is a massive disruption to my workflow and simply unacceptable for a premium product. For a pair of headphones at this price point, I expected a seamless transition between devices, but instead, I’m left with a glitchy experience that feels more like a beta test than a finished consumer product. Sony needs to address these stability issues immediately, as the excellent audio doesn't make up for the constant frustration of a failing connection.

I wasn’t blown away
Perhaps I’m missing something but I’m not sure I see the value in this product. Build quality is good, case great, but I’m just not blown away by the sound quality or features. At this price I expected a more wow experience.

Great headphones with minor drawbacks
Sounds quality is excellent, noise cancelling is the best and it’s got great battery life. The plastic material doesn’t really live up to the price point and feels a bit cheap. It would also benefit from a transparency mode or cleaner adaptive mode that allowed for conversations to come through clearer.

Poor Response
Poor response and bought 2 MX6 also had same issue . Really disapointed still not belive why MIC GOT Faulty. I have been using M4 Last 2 years it is perfecly working. I recommend sony to review completely.

Perfect Headphones
I bought these about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely can say the price justifies the sound quality perfectly. From the crisp, deep bass, and perfectly clear highs, these give you such a large soundstage it’s incredible. I will say I’m not the biggest fan of how thin the earcups are, as the headband makes the cups lean inwards on the bottom of your ears compared to the XM5’s flattened design on your head. It does create a pressure point on that lower part of your ear, but it’s only noticeable (to me) after about an hour or two of listening. Overall, these are the most comfortable headphones, best sounding, and best noise cancelling I’ve ever experienced. I would just love to see a flatter fit, and more filled earcups since they are rather flat feeling. 10/10
