  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

Stiff and wide...not flattering

I like barrel leg pants, but these are wider and stiffer than any other pair I have. They aren’t super flattering and are less barrel and more wide than other pairs I have. If I hadn’t gotten rid of the tags, I would have returned them. I will probably either donate them or see if I can get them altered to narrow the bottom a little bit.

I bought these in store in the tan. The 4 fit perfect and hit at the top of my foot, a length I prefer than the one shown. So I ordered these cream as it wasn't in my store. I'm 5'3" and figured that's what they were longer. Well in total I ended up ordering three creams. The first was a little too small and def too short. So I ordered two more. None were as good fitting or long as the tan. I did settle on one cream. For $24.50 I suppose you can't count on consistency. So beware. They are cute pants and I can make them work with try tight shoes or boots. This style will always need a cropped or at waist top.

Comfortable, Lighweight Corduroy Pants

These are comfortable, flattering, and lightweight corduroy pants. I’d been looking for a pair of corduroys, and while initially I wasn’t sure if I would like them, they’re now one of my favorite pairs. I got size 6 which seems to mostly be a good choice for me in Universal Thread. Their sizing can be inconsistent, but at least in pants, a 6 for my 5’7” 140lb pear shaped frame works well. Some reviews complained of the noise…yes, thin corduroy material is generally noisy. I remember having corduroys as a kid, there’s just a corduroy noise. I guess I rather expect it, not necessarily take stars off because of it. Especially if you have narrow, close set hips/ legs that rub when you walk. These are lightweight, which makes them pleasant to wear, and almost feel fall/springy rather than winter weight, but once on they don’t feel cold. The biggest question to see is how long they will last. So far they seem pretty durable, but only time will tell how the corduroy strands will hold up. The waist falls at the perfect spot, flattering and high. The color is great, they’re easy to button and zip. Overall I just really like these, and they keep growing on me even more!

SO SHORT

Another reviewer said the same thing: came crumpled by like a bag of trash. SO wrinkled. But in addition to that, these are insanely short!!! I got the regular and am 5'8. They're total high waters! I could make them work with a taller shaft boot, but when i sit down, they look like they could be capris, and I'm not going for that look, especially not in winter. I wish they would restock the talls (and shorts for my girls), but unless you're the perfect height or like them super cropped, keep lookin.
