  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

    mauve pink runs small

    I like these shorts but the pink color (at least) definitely runs small, especially for being advertised as high-waisted. I am tall with a thin/athletic but curvy build and I got my usual size (medium), and there was just not enough fabric in the hip/butt area, especially when wearing them at my actual waist. The brief part actually fit okay, which was odd because typically if this style doesn’t work for me, it’s because the inner layer is too tight, not vice versa. The drawstring does actually function, so I should be able to size up and cinch the waist in (and I will probably do that because these are very cute and I think they will be a good running short), but I am reminded why I largely stopped getting activewear at Target once the C9 line was discontinued for All in Motion—the sizing is just disappointingly inconsistent every time I try :(

    Different sizes for different colors

    I bought the light green and black because I have multiple from last year and wanted a couple more. The light green fit way smaller, I held it up to the black one and it was an inch and a half shorter on all sides.

    Miss for me

    Honestly, these were a miss for me. I usually wear a large in target activewear and even the XL is a little small on me. The leg openings are small and the waist is loose and the elastic waistband doesn’t cinch well at all. Cut color but that’s the only good thing about these.

    Love these!

    I love these shorts and I’ve been wearing this style from target for years! However, this year and last summer’s shorts that I purchased do not have the little inside pocket for a key. I use that little pocket in my older shorts a lot for jogging and walking. I am frustrated that newer version do not have this pocket. I do love these shorts and it won’t keep me from buying them as they check all the other boxes that I like in a short (high waisted, built in liner, adjustable drawstring, a zipper pocket that holds my phone and they’re a good length). I love these shorts but I would love them even more if you brought the little pocket back.
