How to measure

  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

These are my favorite shorts! I’m so mad they keep going out of stock so fast and last year never returned. People keep mentioning these are longer- yes they are 5” the normal ones in store are 3” so different shorts. I compared these to my 5” from last year and they are the exact same! Can wear these all day at Disney and never have issues.

Fits tighter this year

I was really hoping the other negative reviews of this year’s shorts wouldn’t hold up for me personally, but sadly they did. I was hoping to add some new colors of my favorite shorts, but these fit so much tighter in the thighs than last year’s shorts! I may try going up to a medium from my usual small, but it just makes me sad that they’ve changed the sizing.

Glad I stocked up on last year's version

WHY did you have to ruin these Target?! You finally made some shorts for those of us who need more length and room in the thighs. And you had to go and change it. These are terrible. Way tighter in the leg than last year’s version. I’m glad I stocked up on the old ones.

I ordered a medium in these based on the ones from last year, but they fit so much bigger. I don’t like shorts like these to fit snug at all, but these look a little ridiculous on me they’re so big. The inseam is also longer than last year’s (which I don’t mind). Think I’ll try a small because I love the blue color.

Agree with the other reviews saying last year’s style/fit was way better. This year the leg inseam is longer and tighter around the thighs and doesn’t flare out as much. Overall a lot less flattering on the legs. Too bad since the colors are great this year. Bring back last year’s fit!!

Fit is off from last years version

I bought multiple colors in these last year, perfection! Loved the fit and length so much. But this year the fit is so different. The cut of the legs is a lot smaller than all my pair from last year. I ordered 2 in the same size to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.

Weird cut, great length

Oddly tight around the stomach and considering these are what I would call extra high rise they’re deeply unflattering and totally accentuate the pooch. The length is great and they could be good if you’re short waisted. I also couldn’t tell in the photos, but these don’t have a regular drawstring: it’s a paracord-type with a hard plastic button and stretchy elastic band. It will show under your shirts and unless you cut the cord you cannot take it out.

Great length!

After constantly having to pull athletic shorts down while walking I decided 5” length was probably best and boy was I right! These shorts are not only comfortable but they are really cute and look great with long shirts! I also like how high waisted they are. If you have big thighs these would help with chaffing compared to shorter lengths.

Love the style and fit! The only inexpensive shorts that fit my muscular thighs! I also prefer 5 inch and so glad target offers these. I hate that 3”is the standard for everything, I wish all styles had a longer option. I wear a 10 in lulu shorts and the medium fits me, I usually have to purchase larges in shorts so these run slightly roomier.
