Journee Women's Ekko Medium and Wide Width Flat Sandals, Cognac 7.5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are beautiful, but they’re at least a full size bigger than my typical shoe size and they do not have any arch support. For this price, I expected much more reliable sizing and better quality soles.

The shoe looks gorgeous and seems well made, but after trying 3 sizes of the same style/color they don't work for me. I usually am a solid 8, I never have to be picky about choosing shoes due to any width or foot issues, I have a very easy time purchasing shoes. I can order anything and it always fits. When the 8s came and were absolutely giant, I could never consider wearing them I was walking right out of them. I returned and ordered a 7, I figured I could jump down a whole size since they ran so big. But I have never bought a 7 before. The 7s seemed 3 sizes smaller than the 8s. I tried to wear them for a 2 hour car ride heading on a fun overnight and literally hurt my toe so badly I had pain for over a month which was ridiculous. I returned the 7s and tried the 7. 5s with not many choices left but those were also tight. I don't know what is up with the sizes but I am disappointed. Really wanted to adore these shoes! I was so excited to find them. Oh well.

There is something off about these. They run x x big maybe 2 sizes bigger. The 9.5 wide is more like a size 11. The front is short and the leather leather is stiff. The backs seam like they will cut you. If I was to go down in size, I would need to get a 7.5 but I will not be re ordering.

Had to return shoe 3x's to get correct sz I wear an 8 returned for 7 then 6.5 now having a difficult time to return for a 6. Since it's a 3rd party selling thru target store. When I did return at store for 6.5 I was not given a receipt only order # now target does not want to refund me. Shoe is comfortable but not worth the stress

Shoe looked and felt very cheap.

I regularly purchase huaraches and this shoe wasn’t what I expected. Also, the shoe size was too small. Intend on returning this shoe

I ordered one size smaller since reviews said they ran large and to make up for the leather stretching. I wear a 7 1/2 medium and ordered a 6 1/2. They were still a whole size too large. Also the toe area was too tight. Loved the color (champagne) and that the toe was completely closed in instead of open straps that expose toes, but it was too snug. Will be returning them.
