So far, so good
I purchased this fully expecting it not to last more than a few years here in the South where summers are brutal. I'm satisfied so far. Purchased and set this up a month before my daughter's birthday party. We did not screw it down yet because I wanted to move it to the grass for the party. So we used sand bags to hold down the legs temporarily and that was fine during slightly windy rainy days. Day of the party, it was really windy, with several gusts over 10mph, and again, it held up fine. We didn't even stake it down like planned. The sturdiness actually surprised me because it's quite lightweight. Was easy to put together with mostly 2 people, and then had the kids come in at the end just to have more hands. In total I'd say it took 3 hrs, which is what the manual estimates. When moving it, 4 people of any size and strength was capable of doing so. (I will say, the first step in the instructions was annoying; it shouldn't be in the manual at all. I'm still confused by it, but don't leave the magnet inside the structure!) Anyway, it looks great, and functions as advertised. Even if it only lasts 2 years, I'd be happy. For the price, I wouldn't even be that mad if it only lasts 1 summer. Bought it temporarily for a party because I didn't have enough time to do the extravagantly planned backyard oasis, and it's served it's purpose. Probably only costs twice as much as one of those ugly portable canopies people use for events.
