1 of 2 barstools in this set could be assembled

This is a 2 for now that'll hopefully turn into a 4 or 5. The manufacturing is inconsistent on the steel barstool legs. I was able to build 1 (of 2) of the barstools with no problems. For the 2nd, there was something wrong with both of the leg components. The hole seems to small and i can feel steel jutting out when i stick my finger into the hole which is also preventing assembly. Lastly, requesting replacement parts was tedious, through the site, so I just called in. The rep has to reach out to the manufacturer and wait for them to respond, when the process should be more seamless. Currently I'm waiting to hear back.
