Assembly, while a bunch of pieces, was pretty easy! I love that it has the shelves for my daughter to store all her things on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this desk in exchange for doing an honest review. This is a beautiful desk for a child’s room. It is designed with plenty of space for their toys, art supplies and other things to be stored. Plenty of space for them to create, do homework work and play from this desk as well. For reference, as an average sized adult I can easily sit at this desk with plenty of room to move around in a regular full sized office chair or regular full size chair for an adult. So it won’t be an issue with a child out growing this desk at any age. So it can remain as decor in a child’s room until they go off to college if they want to keep this desk for the long haul. I’m sure this desk will also last for years because it is quality made and designed with real wood and good screws and bolts. It definitely takes 2 adults to put this desk together or at the very least one really strong man to put it together, once all the smaller compartments have been put together. The smaller compartments put together connect to the top compartment and table top as the fitting final piece that will need to be lifted and placed onto the 2 lower compartments like a puzzle, then secured with screws/bolts. Though all the pieces and tools needed comes with this set to put it together, it is ideal to have a power drill to make putting certain screws/bolts in place a lot easier than by hand with the small metal tool included with this set. There appeared to be extra screws and bolts included as well so you won’t have to worry about losing pieces that are needed though as an extra precaution keep up with all pieces and screws in the set anyway. Extra note. The front end of the shelf desk shouldn’t be showing any screws/bolts on the exterior. We made the mistake of placing the board on the wrong side. So you will see this in the photos. We may take that part loose and flip it and put the screws back in to make sure the screws and bolts are showing for aesthetic purposes. However, we don’t have to. It is still secure and looks good as is, mistake or no mistake. Was easy to put together. Took about 45 minutes to one hour to put together with myself and a family member to put together. We’re used to doing DIY projects at home.
