My Way is Bettter

I received this packet by mistake in one of my orders and was advised to keep it and try it. Normally, I make guacamole by mixing avocado with garlic salt and lemon juice, a method I learned from my South American mother-in-law. Since I had the packet on hand, I decided to try it. It was very easy and quick to use, but the flavor was too strong and took away from the naturally delicious flavor of the avocado. I didn't even finish eating it and neither did my guests...it ended up in the trash. The guacamole I make with garlic salt and lemon juice is so delicious, you can't stop eating it. So, this packet is convenient and cheap, but it definitely does not taste good enough for me to buy it.

great dip mix

This is great stuff! In use it in place of Lipton onion soup which has plenty of unhealthy ingredients. I mix with sour cream for a yummy dip or put on top of a roast in the crock pot. Very delicious without all the bad stuff that I try so hard to stay away from.

At first, I thought this was too strong. But, after it had been refrigerated over night, I really loved it. The package says to refrigerate for a couple hours. I'd recommend letting it sit refrigerated overnight. Store bought onion dip is horrible, texture is like melted plastic, and is mostly made from ingredients that I have to look up in a chemical book. It's nice to find something that tastes great and made of organic ingredients. I've found that anything from Simply Organic is a wonderful product.

Great Guacamole Dip!

I tried this on a whim and am so glad I did. I like the flavor and love that It's organic. It makes a tasty Avacado Soup, as well as other good recipes. Count me as a regular customer.

First discovered this at Whole Foods, happy I can buy at Swansons. I use it for dips and even in my meatloaf. Great because there's no MSG in it.

Very good flavor. I like it because it doesn't have preservatives or hydrogenated fats. It is excellent used in meat loaf, dips etc. One of the best french onion packaged mixes I have tried and would greatly recommend.

very tasty....

I love that this product is organic and the flavor is great both in meatloaf and in a minestrone soup I have been making for years. I use it in place of a popular national brand that contains certain ingredients which are not organic and may be detrimental to health over time. I highly recommend it.

Great Product

Convenient. Tasty. Easy to use. Does need to sit for 30 minutes or so to let the flavors mix--which is to be expected but not clearly spelled out on the package directions. Makes about 2 cups of dip so one package can go a long way.
