Great Product But…
Honestly took me longer than expected to build this thing. Took around 2-3 hours to build by myself, but I'd like to note that you do need your own drill for this shelf as it only comes with a hex wrench. The shelf does look nice and I plan on putting a printer on the shelf for storage as that's the main reason I bought the shelf and also as a decorative purpose. I'm not sure if it'll have good durability as all the pieces were all fine and I made sure to check before putting the pieces together. However, there was already a chip in one of the pieces after I gave it a look over after I finished building it. So I would say try to be careful as you're assembling this shelf. But it is also quite difficult to align the holes since you have to put a bit of force, but it is doable. Just need patience building this.

Sturdy shelves...recommend
Totally worth the sale price. Remember It is not fine furniture. Simple instructions that one person can do…about an hour. I probably won’t even use the little stickers. If you don’t tighten so tight that the screw recesses, you won’t even need the stickers…it is still sturdy. Using in bathroom for towels and basket for extra toilet paper. Perfect for that. Bought seagrass baskets for two of the shelves.

Easy to assemble
This was easy to assemble but it is ideal with two people. One needs to hold the part while the other fastens. I had all the hardware in the package needed. There is a few stickers that cover the fasteners from the outside of the shelf. You can still see then fasteners from the inside and there are no stickers to cover those up. Otherwise it's a nice little shelf to fill a room with some small decorative items.

Ladder shelves are hard to assemble
This one is the 2nd ladder shelf I have assembled out of the box. These tend to be well-designed and result in a sturdy unit. They require a spacious area to lay out the assembly components and a good amount of time to put it together. The construction manual for this shelf looked very opaque to me at first! Re-reading the papers gave me the clues needed to proceed with some confidence. A Phillips #1 will be required. (It\'s not included, but the Allen key is.) The resulting shelf is sturdy and should become a welcome item! PROS ? There\'s one extra screw or dowel in each bag of hardware. ? The description states the shelf is 20-inches wide. This measurement is spot-on because my intended space is 20.5. The shelf fits perfectly! CONS ? The maker has attached a warning label to the top shelf that will not easily be removed! A point off for that! A glue of less tackiness or a simple adhesive tape would be a better choice. ? Be aware that each shelf does have front and back edges. Identify those edges before screwing it all together.

Plastic cover provided is just a low quality sticker
The book shelf is good but some how the finishing is not great. The part J : plastic cover is not plastic. It’s just a black sticker same as the wood color that started peeling of within a week. The manufacturer should provide a quality cover that covers the screw hole than a low quality sticker that peels off every day

This product unfortunately was a waste of time and money, even on sale. I was so excited about How cute it was and how it would be the perfect piece for the space I wanted it in, however The step by step diagram did not allow for a seamless assembly and even after multiple attempts at putting it together, we finally realized that the pieces were poorly manufactured, and certain parts were missing the numbers you need to attach pieces together and even when you finally connect the parts they STILL did not line up as directed making assembly a headache. PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
