Beautiful rug, but doesn't last

I purchased this rug in September for my daughter's room. The rug is very soft and looks great in person. However, I just noticed that several of the hobnails are coming undone. Disappointing considering this rug is marketed for high traffic areas.

NOT pet and child friendly

The "nails" lost their shape after 3 months. And this was BEFORE Covid. They look like Trolls hair. NOT good for high traffic areas. Bought for that reason. Very disappointed.
