[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This modular design is great. I really love how I can switch up the positioning whenever I want. I can use the desk by itself, with the filing cabinet, the bookshelf, or both. This desk set is made from compressed wood and it is heavy. The black finish has that nice wood grain detail. The set can in three separate boxes and requires assembly. The drawers are spacious, also having a soft close feature preventing loud slams. The assembly was pretty time consuming, it took me several hours to assemble all three pieces. I used a cordless screwdriver, but you really only need a screwdriver to assemble it. I did need help with a couple of pieces, but one person could assemble it alone. The instructions are very easy to follow and all the pieces and screws are numbered. My new desk is beautiful and well constructed. I’m sure it will last for years. It’s definitely not your cheaply made particle board furniture.

The neutral tan color looks nice and works well with different room styles. Assembly was difficult but the instructions were pretty clear. The desk arrived in multiple packages, which made setup a bit inconvenient. Overall, it’s a solid desk once fully put together.
