I just removed the screws, set the backplate and handle against the cabinet and put the screws back. I kike that it covers the stains from dirty hands.

After looking I’ve found the polished chrome backplate so I did not needed to change the wooden knob but still wanted to somehow update it. The back plate hit the spot and completely transformed the look. I love that the plate is nicely manufactured with great edges and same polished throughout. I’ve purchased in the past chrome plates and they were not as well made. I am really happy with the craftsmanship on this items. I also like the size and the fact that it comes with different length screws. That’s a few thumbs up as well. I like that even the longer screws worked for my project and did not made the part look flimsy. I highly recommend the manufacturer and their products.

The polished chrome finish looks beautiful and gives the cabinet a clean, modern look. It has a smooth mirror like shine that instantly makes the hardware look more stylish. The rectangular design is simple yet elegant so its easy works well with different cabinet styles. The backplate feels sturdy and well made and fits perfectly with standard 96mm cabinet pulls. Overall a small detail which makes a big difference in how the cabinet looks. Great quality,nice chrome finish, and excellent packaging. Definitely a good choice if you want to upgrade your cabinet hardware.
