If I can do it…lol. Beautiful piece

I love this piece, did a lot of shopping before I found Plank and Beam. The solid wood is excellent quality at an affordable price. I’m 83 and put it together myself in about 3 hours. The instructions were very easy to follow. I made 1 tiny mistake at the third piece I installed and it didn’t manifest until I went to put on the last piece, the middle door. The tiny pilot holes for the hinges were in the back because I wasn’t paying attention. . But I got the door on despite that. I get so many compliments on it and feel very proud that I could put it together.

This is a solid piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid piece overall, although it did arrive slightly damaged. One of the vertical slats was dislodged from the frame. The nails holding the slat in were bent and had to be realigned--a simple enough repair. Another one of the slats was not completely square. It looks like it broke during manufacture and was painted over.

My husband had to go out and buy dowels that fit. Still happy with it. Easy to assemble. Fits perfectly and isn't particule board.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this b/c of the rave reviews. Looks nice but took me over 3 hours to put together by myself. Almost none of the re-drilled holes aligned with the corresponding parts, for the entire piece, which was incredibly frustrating and shows a lack of quality control. If you're not one who likes to problem solve and figure out a way to put things together with DIY furniture, I would pass on this. The piece itself looks nice, but I had to figure out a way to get this entire piece together. Maybe I'm just the unfortunate one who got a bad set? Wouldn't re-purchase.

The sideboard is really good-looking,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sideboard is really good-looking, I must say, and fits our space perfectly. It is located in a spot where it is often viewed from the side, and I like that the design provides visual interest from that angle. I assembled it myself without too much difficulty. One of the doors is a bit misaligned for some reason; it just barely touches the magnetic closure at the top of the door. But it is not very noticeable and I have decided to live with it.

Pretty design. Awful construction

Horrible assembly. Taken over 4 hours and the back is so misaligned that it genuinely cannot be completed. My mass market furniture was MUCH easier to assemble. It also came scratched.

Great walnut 3 door sideboard

I love this piece of furniture! It is exactly as I expected, since I have ordered from Plank and Beam before. The quality is really good with the pressure doors being very smooth to open and close. It was pretty easy to put together by myself and a great addition to our home!
