These are perfect for misen place. After going to culinary school boot camp a few weeks ago, I learned the importance of weighing and measuring ingredients prior to start. These ceramic bowls are not only beautiful, but are the perfect size for holding ingredients. I also use these to serve, store, freeze and bake in. Great price for all of the many functions they perform.
