Lifetime Convertible Bench, Mocha Brown (60139)

If I could give these benches a negative star rating I would. From the beginng they were difficult to put together. Then they retain water and when you convert the table to bench and vice versa the rusty water drips out all over the deck. After 2 years the face wood board began to spit and crack and then the screws one by one are rotting out. So much for LIFETIME!

You need two people to put it together; there are a couple of screws that are complicated to work with. We live in Miami, FL, and this is the rainy season. One thing that we noticed, when converting into tables, was rust water coming from inside, even though no rust was visible from outside.

Not only is the bench amazing, but when a tree fell on it and broke a few slats, the customer service department was incredibly helpful and sent replacement parts right away even though it was an older bench. They honored their guarantee and then some!

There was an issue with the bench seat. I called customer service and they resolved the problem quickly and efficiently.

Trust me when I say this is money well spent. LIFETIME makes such great quality stuff and this bench is not only functional, but it's well built and so great to have as a bench and or table. Our kids love to eat on this outside and everyone that see's this product asks about it. Recently, I reached out to Lifetime regarding replacement parts after a few of these slats were damaged (my fault). Their customer service is responsive and incredibly helpful. They promptly shipped me exactly what I needed. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to work with a company that truly cares about it's product and customers.

I called and like magic my parts were on the way to me. Great company—great employees and I love my bench.

We bought this item and have used it for several years. A few slats cracked due to the weather and we contacted Lifetime to find if we could find replacements. The company sent us complete replacements. We are very impressed with the service and the product.

Customer service was quick to respond to the warranty request I submitted. Great communication. The parts were going to be 3 months out , but ended up receiving the parts much sooner!

Great concept. Sturdy construction and easy to follow directions. Biggest issue is the provided washers that allow it to convert to a table are very flimsy. Even though we followed the directions and didn’t tighten the nut too much, the washer disintegrated while we were just testing the function of the bench to table. We had to go to the store and buy more durable washers, disassemble that part, then reassemble it. It now works fine but I wonder how long it will last before those need to be replaced again. Such a shame that part was such a pain. It should include better washers.

Absolutely love this bench. Excellent product, easy to assemble, simple to use.

Although they take a bit of time to assemble they are a great addition to our backyard. Sturdy, good looking and comfortable.

I would give this a 5 star except that one of the two benches we ordered came with a bent hinge. Customer service was very helpful but the part is coming from China and won't be here for 3 -5 months. Otherwise we are please thus far with our purchase.
