Q: why can this not be used in the garden?

  • A: Hello Gresham Shopper and thank you for your question. We recommend using the metal lantern as indoor decor since it doesn't have any water-proof coating. If you choose to place the lantern outdoors, please note that the metal made fade/rust over time as it is exposed to the elements.
