Q: I’m having trouble folding the tower. In the product photos, the retractable leg clearly shows the dowel sitting inside the dowel track, the leg doesn’t fold in properly when the dowel is positioned in the track.

  • A: This issue can occur when the bearing remains set to Level 1–2 while the stool is being used at Level 3. When the bearing isn’t adjusted, the dowel may not sit correctly in the track, preventing the leg from folding smoothly. To fix this: 1. If adjusting to Level 3, use the thin wrench to move the bearing to the Level 3 position (as shown in Step 6 of the manual). 2. After moving the bearing, adjust the I-board height accordingly. 3. Once the bearing is correctly positioned, the leg should fold normally without resistance.

Dangerous

My daughter has fallen on this multiple times when just standing and trying to climb into it with lifting and pressing down on the top lever. I attempted to return and spent 45min on the phone with guest relations who ultimately refused to return despite it being a safety issue as it was out of the return window. Very disappointed in target. Escalating to legal. Lesson learned is do not buy target plus items.

Trouble folding

I’m having trouble folding the tower. In the product photos, the retractable leg clearly shows the dowel sitting inside the dowel track. However, on my unit, the leg doesn’t fold in properly when the dowel is positioned in the track. I tried placing the dowel on the outside of the track instead, but it feels much less stable and unsafe. Any insight or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I tried to submit this in the questions box, but there was an error.

Sturdy and perfect for kids

My little one loves this step stool! It's sturdy and helps them reach the sink to wash hands or get a toy from a high shelf The non-slip feet are a big plus Easy to move around and clean too Highly recommend for parents looking for a safe and practical step stool for kids.
