Flaw in precision tip
I like the Fixodent scope product very much but the last four-five new tubes are terrible. Not sure what you have done but whenever I use it, putting the cap back on immediately, and then next time I use it, there is hardening at the tip and I end up shoving something down the hold just so I can get more out it; however, it also feels like the adhesive is hard in the tube - you can feel hard lumps. Please try and fix this because this holds by dentures better than anything.

Fixodent Plus with Scope
I have been using Fixodent Plus with Scope for almost 2 years now and the last 4 creams that I have bought have been terrible, it seems that it's drying out and causeing lumbs in it. When I first started using it I thought it was a great adhesive, now after the last 4 tubes I think I am going to have to switch to another cream, not for sure what has went wrong with it but it feels like I have gravel in the roof of my mouth and have to apply it 3 times each morning just to be able to use what I have on hand. It is a great price for it but if your not happy with it then why spend your money on it.

As someone who has used our Fixodent Plus Scope for the last two years, you know that your recent experiences aren't normal and not what we expect, especially with our quality and safety checks. You should get a 12-hour hold, so we don't expect you to ever have to reapply it. Things like the condition of your dentures, if you consume very hot/cold food/beverages, and even the medication you're taking can all play a role in the holding power. Longevity
I like this product better than Seabond or Poligrip, but it just doesn't seem to last very long. I sometimes have to reapply several times during a meal. Kind of frustrating, especially when you're dining out. And yes I have tried the maximum hold formula and I find that there's not much difference except in the price!

But whenever I use even if I put the lid on right away it's gets hard at the tip and always have to shove something down the hole just so I can get more stuff out it's rather annoying but only thing that holds my dentures in place

Holds Great, But ...
Love the Precision Tip Nozzle and the all day hold. When removing, the adhesive stays on the denture, not your gums. The only thing I don't like about it is the Scope flavor. I only use on my bottom denture and the only time I taste the Scope flavor is when I'm eating. Tastes like you've cooked your food with scope. Is there a Precision Tip Nozzle product without flavoring?

Seems great for my bottom partial
I was using the regular formula and was having trouble with my bottom partial on the left side feeling like it was I’ll fitting . I bought a tube of the Fixodent plus Precision hold and seal and Put a thin line on my bottom partial I was able to eat , I put a thin strip then hold it down fir about 30 seconds it seems to work very well . I have scheduled to see the dentist gor a adjustment as I’ve only had them 6 months so maybe that will help even more but as of now I feel much better and can eat and chew

Overall good quality
I like your product a lot. I use it everyday but I have gotten 3 tubes of the scope mint in a row, the punched out piece gets stuck in the tip and everytime I have to stick something in the hole to open it up to use it. Your product is the BEST but this problem is really annoying. The reason for the 4 on the quality is because of having to unplug the tip everytime I use it.

I love this one. I just have problems with when I take my dentures out at night, there is always some of fixodent left on my gums. I rinse my mouth out with warm water and it goes away.

Clogging issues! (Scope)
Have used fixodent for several years, it's not what is used to be. Clogging is a daily problem. ..using a toothpick or pin to unclog it, massaging the tube etc, still happening. Very frustrated.

Any moisture around the cap area or tip of the tube could cause the product to harden over time, making the tube difficult to squeeze. Try holding and/or gently squeezing the tube in your hands to soften the product before applying to dentures. For best results, do the following. -Apply to clean, dry dentures. -Always replace the cap after using the product. -Store the product in a clean, dry area. Keep the nozzle and cap dry to avoid clogging. -Use a dry cloth to wipe the nozzle clean. Don't use water to clean the nozzle. This fixodent came in a tube
This was the first time I bought Fixodent denture Cleanser in a tube and was disappointed because many of the tablets were broken. I don't think this was a good packaging idea.

Does the job
I see 1 and 2 star reviews for this product and there is a common thread-clogging at the nozzle. This can be avoided by not allowing moisture of any kind to contact the applicator tip. Moisture catalyzes the adhesive to solidify well into the tip, clogging it. Be sure to dry your partial/denture completely before applying adhesive. Avoid contact with partial/denture by applying adhesive while hovering just above the surface. The product does a great job of holding for 24 hours or so but dissolving just enough to remove for cleaning easily. The Scope aspect is a nice touch. Every competing product tastes like I imagine diatomaceous earth tastes like.

Will not squeeze out
I have used this product for years and never had a problem. The last two times I purchased Fixodent Plus it would not come out of the tube. The first time I thought the cap didn't fit tight enough and the cream would dry up at the end. I could poke it with a pin and squeeze the stuck cream out and I could use it once, then it would do the same thing the next day. The second tube that I purchased none of the cream would squeeze out. I cut the tip down to make the hole bigger but that didn't help. I tried soaking the tube in hot water and that didn't help either. I wonder if the ingredients have changed.

Used to love this product
I have used Fixodent with Scope for a few years now. What I have discovered lately is something has changed either with the packaging or the product itself. I usually pick up a multi pack and I have noticed with the last few tubes it is always hardening to the point where I have to get a toothpick or something to unplug the end, I have never had to do this before, now I have to every time. This is a major pain and will make me look elsewhere for my denture adhesive.

While it’s true that our Fixodent Plus Scope went through a change it was back in 2012, Brock. To help with getting it unclogged we recommend only storing it at room temperature and try massaging the tube to help it come out before opening it up for you. Clogged tube makes it un-usable
This is the second tube I have purchased which has clogged after a couple uses, and becomes extremely difficult yo un-clog. This is no value to it if the product will not come out of the tube. Possibly the outlet is to small?
