Ensure Complete Nutrition Shake, Milk Chocolate, 10 fl oz, 4 Count

Good product, poor bottling. After finishing or dispensing product I see a %age of product that sticks to the walls of the bottle. The product waste adds up. Note I buy a box of 24 every month. Waste product spoils in garbage, or is washed down the sink. Curved shape of bottle enhances cohesive aspect of product to adhere in bottle. Recomend smooth sided shape for more efficient dispence of product.

The drink tastes good, but every time I get down to the last few sips, no matter how hard I shake, there's clumps of protein powder. Makes me wonder how much protein I'm actually getting.

I have compared Ensure Complete to other products such as Boost and some store brands. I have digestive and hunger issues that often prevent me from maintaining a healthy diet. Of all the products I've tried, Ensure Complete has the best palpability. You can get it down despite lack of hunger. All three flavors are excellent with the chocolate not having the malty flavor of other products. I will often use the chocolate and vanilla as coffee creamer, but strawberry is my favorite as a drink

My pre-surgery team recommended these 2 per day for 5 days before surgery and 5 days after surgery. I purchased the vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate flavors to try them out. I liked the chocolate best. The strawberry tasted good but it didn’t mix as well when shaken the same amount as the chocolate (best by date was same on both, Feb 2025). The vanilla was certainly drinkable but I noticed the protein flavors more in it. My concern is that the side of the bottle states “suitable for lactose intolerance”, but I had to take Lactaid tablets before consuming or else the smoothie would work as a laxative and I would lose most of the nutrients, much like when I attempt to consume milk or ice cream. My sensitivity to lactose is not as bad as for other people because I can usually handle moderate amounts of cheese, yogurt, and other processed milk products. Please be aware that the lactose intolerance statement may need to be revised.

Drinking ensure Complete was the only product that helped me gain weight back after several rounds of chemo and radiation. Going from 276 pounds of pure muscle as a police officer to 153 pounds was tough. I am back to 182 and everyday by drinking 2 bottles of Ensure Complete or Plus has made that possible.

I have had a lot of ensure products, this one is pretty good you don't taste the protein that much, it seems pretty good i mean the ingredients aren't the best, but you get a lot of minerals and vitamins in one drink. its perfects of snack or meal replacement and the vanilla and chocolate both have a very good strong taste, (not chemically ). but my only complaint is that i shock it a lot and there was still clumps at the bottom. i know its a protein drink but just seemed odd because i shock it a lot and it wasn't expired. overall i recommend it.

Was a great drink overall until I made it to the bottom of the bottle. That’s where I started feeling a bit uneasy because there were chunky “things” and haven’t been able to find out what those “things” are or if the chunky “things” mean it’s spoiled/bad.

I bought this product for my 97 year old mother which she drink every day as her midday snack. This is a great drink for making sure she gets her calorie intake for the day.
